One of the most frequently asked questions is: “We have a fully functioning desktop application; can't you just convert it to a mobile app?” The answer depends on many factors, not least of which is user expectations. An app designed to fill a large screen usually contains swathes of information, not all of which is relevant to the task it is attempting to achieve. To simply move it lock, stock and barrel to a mobile app would be futile!
The design of the app must be heavily influenced by the functional requirement, which through analysis, we can provide a design interface that represents the specific tasks of the app. Further influences include who will use your app, where they will use it, and whether your company has a specific colour scheme.
